How d you convert OEM single piston caliper to later model OEM dual piston caliper
Morning Gents,
My 95 Blazer has been in my family since 2000, i inherited it after 2008 when i bought it back from my grandfather. Right Now its a cruiser w/ a modest exterior and a kicken system. Im not about speed but performance is a must. I currently have a strict budget with being deployed and all so I was wondering what would be needed to convert a single piston OEM brake caliper to a later model dual / floating OEM caliper. The current brakes are due to be replaced when i get back and just swapping the singles alone will help with braking quality two fold. However seeing as how i am no expert would they require a different mounting position or could I simply replace it. Anyways thanks for any help in advance and thanks for the time.

You would need to change out the spindles as well as the calipers. You're probably looking at around $700 doing it yourself, and thats with a dirt cheap set of spindles.
