Hey guys

I was curious if there was an online manual for my truck with the code to unlock my stereo. I replaced the battery and now the stereo is stuck in "loc" mode.

Truck Info:
2001 Chevy s10 (extreme edition)

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, dont really wana have to drive it all the way down to the dealership to have it unlocked.

 

i had the same problem. i had to go to a dealer and they hooked the scanner on it and pulled a code. then they had to call some place with that code to get the new code to unlock it. i didn't take that long but it was a pain to take time off work to get my tunes back.

 

my friend had the same problem only it was on an astrovan... he just said screw it and had me put in a new stereo
