i have an 89 s-10 4.3 v6
i recently replaced the radiator and now the water pump
it still seems to be running Hot.

I think it is the thermostat.
it's not overheating but gets pretty close the the high end of the temp
guage.

It goes way up and then ends up sitting at between 105 and 115
this seems wrong as before the new rad and water pump the highest it useto go
was apx 100

anyone with ideas?

hi rynow, i,m no pro but i do a lot of wrenching and reading. 4.3 (oe)original equipmint thermostat is
192 degrees,sound like you might have a bad themostat sensor also. thermostats for the 89 4.3 come in
three defferent temp settings, you can find more info at autozone.com- id suggest a failsafe unithope this helps.
