Hi all! i am new here and i have a few questions abput my new to me zr2. first off it is a 2000 s-10 ZR2 4x4 v6 5-speed with 76k on it. my question is the e-brake and ABS lights are always on?? why is that? is it a common problem? how would i go about fixing them? my second question which really makes me mad because i ran out of gas because of it. anyways, my fuel gauge dosent work. sometimes it will bounce between full and empty. how do i fix this? do i need to buy a new sending unit? any advise will REALLY help as i dont have the money to take my truck to a shop and say "fix it."

 

Check the level of the brake fluid and the fuel sender unit could be gone but check the ground wire first.

 

From what I have heard the S10 and Blazers all have the gas gauge problem.
