Default Trailer wiring

Can anyone tell me where I can find the wires for a electric brake hookup under the dash in a 99 blazer? I found the power wire by the fuse block under the hood, and I believe the brake (blue) wire there also. Just need to know under the dash, Thanks

there isn't a factory plug for a brake box in 99. the red wire under dash is for auxiliary power to trailers, the blue is indeed for the trailer brakes.

your control box should have four wires: red, black, blue, white.

red wire ties into the vehicles brake light switch/ wiring. you may have to use a test light to find which wire off brake light switch has power when brake pedal is applied. in a GM rig, i believe it is either a yellow or white wire

black wire is a 12 volt power

white wire is ground

blue wire ties into blue wire underhood
