I'm having a similar problem with my '92 S10. However, mine only doesn't start when it gets low on gas, but not OUT. My truck has so many problems. Grumble grumble grumble.......[>:]

when the ambiant tempature out side is cool the truck will not start.
Can you be more specific?
Does it crank over but not fire? Or does it not crank over?

Howdy, I did a some reading in the Haynes manual and page 6-8 emissions it describes the (IAT) Intake Air Temperature sensor as a cold start thermostat inside the air duct. Buy and read up on it I think this is the culprit. DIYers rule.
