A unlikely contender. 02 Cavalier
You may have seen my car if you're on Jbody.org or Clubcav.com, if not, I'm crossposting my OP from Clubcav.com as it has everything from when I started, to how it is now.
When I first picked it up, 2002 Base Coupe, LN2, about 107k on the clock, Auto, No creature comforts, was owned by a mid-aged lady for 70k and then a older senior for the rest. And it was always garage kept, which is good, the sun kills clear coat here in AZ, its still garage kept and washed often. Its my first car after all. And the A/C is ice cold, they don't make em this cold anymore.

After I got it tinted.

Got rid of the hubcovers and just threw on a glasspack cause why not. Also went to a local audio shop and got the following put in:
Infinity Reference 6432cf's in Front
Infinity Reference 9632cf's in Back
Pioneer DEH-X6500BT
JBL GT5 12" Sub in Angled Box
Planet Audio 1500w Monoblock Amp w/ Remote Sub Control

And I went out and took some beauty shots.
Hi-res is before each image.

Then I swapped the glasspack to a DC Sports N1 Clone 2.25in and I think 3.5 out, much better.

Then some chick whipped around a lane out of nowhere and through the red and took out my bumper, if she would have hit my fender, I would probably be driving something else, and have some back problems (Large Nissan van traveling 50).

After that got fixed compliments of her insurance, I gave it a good claybar and wax.

Hit the 20 image limit.
Then I got my Tokico D-Specs new and picked up some used sportlines with only 2k miles on them from a friend. After a long day of breaking bolts loose and finally getting it all on.

And as it sits now, did a B&M ShiftPlus to make the slushbox more fun, picked up some 5zigen FN01R-C's and slapped some Falken Ziexs' on, 215/45r17, and some fancy blue lugs.
Pictures are before i got touchup paint and fixed up the rims.

And now by the end of the month, this is going in.

Built LD9; only roughly 2400 or so miles on it, assembly finished in February, was in a locals' J before he got t-boned and had to save all his parts before the poor thing got hauled away and written off. Luckily we have everything we need to make it happen soon.
Eagle rods
Je pistons
Reman crank
Coated rod and main bearings
Blocked and head shaved a total of .011"
Cometic .051" headgasket
2.3 oil pump swap in stock pan
Mantapart ho valve springs
Ss stock sized valves
Bronze/maganeese valve guides
Ho cams modded for ld9 and power steering
Md stock sized light weight pulley
Lo Intake Manifold
Bottom end was fully balanced
Final scr was calculated at 10.7:1
Spec Stage 3+ Clutch
Also doing a Auto to Manual swap at the same time.
UPDATE:
2.4 Is in, doing great.

Update: How it sits now.

Questions or comments are welcome. The car should be sitting right around 195hp/185~tq, planning on going to get it retuned and dyno'd soon enough.
