1994 350 won't start
It turns over but won't start. Last week it started in my driveway then stalled. Now it only cranks.
It has been running great.
!994 Silverado 350 205,000 miles
What I have noticed and checked/replaced, so far.
The fuel pump runs when I turn on the ignition. I can smell fuel when I crank it.
Replaced the fuel pump on 158,500 on 2/2012. New fuel filter last week.
New Distributor 6/2020 =186,410
Replaced ignition module and spark plugs last week. Distributor cap and rotor look good.
Any ideas on what I should check?
Thanks

The fuel pump may be running but is it delivering the correct fuel pressure? Do a fuel pressure check. I have replaced distributor cap and pickup with off brand parts and very shortly they quit working, so these are 2 things you can check.
I don't have a fuel pump tester. I wanted to buy one the 1st time my fuel pump went bad. I could never figure out how to connect them to my fuel line. I still would like to get one. Can 1 person crank the truck and take the reading?
Someone told me Harbor Freight has one ?
The first time I just pour some gas down the throttle body and the truck fired right up. So, I knew it was the pump.
This time I can smell gas in the throttle body, but it doesn't start. I did replace the fuel filter. It was time.
I am not getting a spark. So, I replaced the ignition module. (Auto Zone) Best one they had?? Still no spark. The cap & rotor (MSD) look really good, so I didn't replace them.
I put in a new distributor about 15,000 miles ago. The truck has been running great ever since then. Last week it started right up but stalled after a few minutes.
I haven't been able to get it running since.
I do have compression and the rotor moves when I turn the key.
Thanks for the suggestion.

Check your wiring harness going to the ICM. I have replaced three ICM's in my '93 Sub, every time I could get it to fire pouring fule in the throttle body - pump would prime but injectors were not firing.
I will check the ICM wiring harness carefully this time. I need to also check the wirings going to the injectors. They were damaged about 15 years ago and I used some liquid tape to cover the bare wiring.
Thanks
Thanks
