2000 1500 Power Window
Hey Yall,
I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 woods truck.
My driver side window does not go down. And quite frankly I'm tired of opening my door at drive-thru’s.
I have replaced the fuze to start. Then I replaced the entire motor with the harness assembly and the power window switch but still got nothing (the passenger window is on the same switch and works perfectly). I have a circuit tester and I am able to control the passenger window though the harness. On the driver side when I try to do the same thing, I can hear the power in the motor to go up but has no power whatsoever when I try to put it down.
I do the work on my truck myself and I am still learning but my only assumption is that the wire that powers the driver side directly, is what needs to be replaced. Problem being, I am not positive that is exactly what needs to be fixed, and I would not like to pay someone $175 hr just to tell me that. Or if that is it, I am not sure how to replace it. So if anyone has an idea or knows how to help, please do.
Thank you!
