Default burp or not?

I am hearing conflicting thoughts as to wheather or not I need to burp the cooling system on a 2004 silverado z71. Some say it is a self burping set up, just fill and go. Others say it does need to be burped but I cant find any bleed screws. Any knowledge on this would be great!

Radiator is a radiator, burp it even with the external overflow. Be carfull as not to burn yourself. Yea, eventually the air may work itself out of the system.
