Cam Sensor 5.3 engine
Trying to remove cam sensor from a 2000 Silverado 1500, 5.3 engine. You can't even see it let alone remove it. How do get to it to change it? Any help would be much appreciated. There has to be a way.

you take the plastic engine shield off which gives you access to the back of the motor, disconnect the connector and remove the bolt. However its going to take some time to work the darn thing out. Spray it down with some lube and let sit for a little bit. slowly work it back and forth till it comes out. If you break the darn thing they are a major pain to get out. Take you time.
