damn too bad i have a Z71 1500 or i would trade you gear sets, that kinda sucks, im wanting to go from 3.42 to 3.73 or 4.10 for towing. same here.. anyone else changed gears? i know how to do it, just up for any extra info.
3.42 is horrible for anything but highway driving. i absolutely HATE them for towing my car trailer. its always ******* down and wanting to downshift into 2nd even on the highway. i really really miss my 2500HD with 4.10's [>:]

My 2500HD Crewcab/longbed is getting 17.5MPG Highway with 342s. Nothing to tow,long way to go. Using a GPS for accurate speed and mileage readings. Purrs like a kitten at 65MPH@2000RPM.
