I am usually a ford guy but I got hit by a drunk driver and am looking for a new truck. i gave silverados a test and found a lifted 2006 classic 1500 four door dark metallic green truck that i want to get. I recently learned that chevy discontinued the color and I really want that color. I also learned they discontinued the color because of new chemicals mixed to create this color recently has caused the paint to fade, chip, and allow water to get between it and rust out the truck. Can anyone for sure falsify or confirm this. I need to know cause if its false im leavin right now to go get the truck.
