Default '04 CD problems

Hey um, i have an 04 2500hd with the 6 disk cd changer, and i recently inserted a burnt cd i made, and now i cant get the changer to eject, or play any of my cds. I really dont want to take it to the dealer because i have a feeling that it will cost an arm and a leg because it isnt under warrenty anymore. Any one have an suggestions?

The CD player is probably shot, the one in my 04 2500HD Crewcab died under the same circumstances, luckily for me, under warranty. The least expensive move is get a Haynes or Chilton's manual to tell you how to disassemble the dash, and get a CD player and install it yourself. If you can't get the player to barf up your CDs after several key cycles, you'll have to carefully disassemble it after removal, too.
