Does anyone know where I can grab a blackemblem for the front grille for the 07 silverado 1500 NBS?

 

take it off and paint it.......

 

Iwas thinking about doing that with some Dupli-color (as i have no access to a paint shop and really dont want to pay $100 for a "custom" painted emblem from a collision repair shop), Ive used some Duplicolor stuff on bare metal and was surprised at how good it looked on horrible metal (slightly rusted and pocked steel, held a good finish for about a year) but wasnt too sure on how it'd work on the plastic, and then I'd have to buy a replacement stock one so i didnt drive around with a F'd up emblem. my other idea was get the wholeeeeee front end sprayed (grille shell grille emblem bumper, bumper sides, etc) but I havent gotten a price on that yet

 

Afew guys here took theirs off and had a local decal shop print them a small piece of vynyl, with a carbon fibre look, they 'stuck' it over the emblem without taking it off, couple guys took theemblem off and did it, taking it off helps, easier to apply, alternative to painting it....and cant ruin it with vinyl

 

I think a "Red Badge" would look real cool.

I have removed the front emblem from my tahoe, however not on my NBS silverado. I felt around and it isnt attached the same way. What exactly is the process to remove the front emblem? How is it held on? Thanks guys.
