Hi guys...just joined here....just purchased a 1985 Silverado today...got it for $1200...not bad shape...i thought it had a 350...but as i'm doing research it might be a 305....anyways.....the 3 speed auto tranny shifts hard...really hard from 1st to 2nd....even if i go slow it still jerks forward somewhat....it doesn't slip after it shifts or anything...the guy i bought it from said it might be the vacum hookup.....i haven't taken it to a tranny place yet....just starting to do research....thanks....Wayne
