Angry 1996 z71 squeaking while rolling HELP!!!!

I have a 1996 z71 with 3" BL. i noticed the other day there was a squeaking noise coming from the driveline while rolling at a low speed. when i accelerate any the squeaking goes away. i jacked the rear end up and spun the tires freely and the sound seemed to come from tranny. checked fluid seemed a little low, topped it off and ran it around the block but noise still happens. any ideas on where noise may be coming from of what to do to pin point it more???? HELP

U-joints? They tend to squeek when going out.

I definately would check to see if the U joints are dry. On some vehicles they do not put in a grease zerk on it, so they go out because of lack of lubricant. [The manufacturers do this ON PURPOSE so the parts wear out faster and us consumers have to fix it--many at the dealer. Basically the product is designed to last only so long, and again it's done on purpose. (I know a vehicle engineer that used to work in Detroit - and that is what he said)].

Anyway, check the U joints if they are dry. If a grease zerk, grease it up. If none, you likely will need to replace the u Joint. Ujoints should be checked twice a year and grease added if needed.

How high pitched is that squeal?

Any chance it's the front hub bearings?

The front end will tend to make a buzzing noise,

@45MPH, on curves.
