I have a 2001 chevy silverado 1500 extended cab and I was wondering the best way to get some more hp out of it. By best way I mean the cheapest way to get quality parts that will not break or have to be replaced. Also I was wondering your opinions on exhaust cutouts. I was thinking of getting cutouts but I wasn't sure if it would sound good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

best way for horsepower is longtube headers, intake, exhaust, and blackbear or Wheatley custom tune. exhaust cutouts sound good but a lot of people have different opinions on sound fr their truck. It's like runnin open headers so If you like that sound then do it. gives you a chance to go loud when you want and quiet when you want. quality parts are basically ones that have a lifetime warranty on em. parts are gonna break over time so just find a napa or o' reilly's and get what you want
