Its -20 here in Southdakota and I decided to go to my lady freinds. As I pulled into the gas station "service airbags" came on. Me being 100 miles from home i started flipping out and unplugged the battery, reset the SIR system, checked all wires for ice, until some guy walked up and asked me what my issue is. Im pretty experienced in these things but never had a light like this randomly come on. Anyway this guy gets in my truck and kicks the trim panel underneath the emergency break and the light instantly goes off. He wiggled some wires and called it good, I bought him a cup of coffee and headed to my girlfriends no issues.

My question is could've the cold and heat caused a loose connection or just a fluke thing? Its frigid here and I've heard of problems like this before.. is there a computer in there that's going out? Will my airbags flip out and go off automatically?
