I have a 04 5.3 that after I start it it will just idle down and die. I was thinking it was the fuel pump which of course is inside the gas tank so I banged on the gas tank and plastic housing outside fuel tank and it ran fine all weekend moving from apt to apt pulling a trailer. Now this morning the truck just idles down and dies again and does it continually until I parked it back at the apt. I had to constantly give it gas or it would die in the middle of the road. Does this sound like a fuel pump, or tps, or IAC sensor or what? Thanks for any help
