there are quite a few plastic pop rivets so to speak. they connect the bottom valence with the middle chrome bumper. Get under the truck and look where the seam is. you'll need a screwdriver and a pair of pliers or a panel popping tool.

there are holes predrilled in the valence and the bumper. the rivets are plastic and are on the top of the bottom of the bumper. there is a lip that curls inwards(towards the interior) on the bumper and the valence. the rivets go from the bottom of the bumper into the top of the valence. take a screwdriver and pry upwards on the head and hopefully they will slide up then use the pliers to pull these rivets out all the way. these rivets are a 2 piece set up. there will still be the insert of it. these expand as the piece you just took out is inserted into the other piece. if you break any you can get them at almost any auto parts store. and are cheap. any more questions feel free to ask

Hey, call chevy because I just replaced that stuff on my truck. Was like $70 for that whole lower piece.

Now our centercaps..... those were a different story. Ha.

Or check local wrecking yards for them on trucks, may find a cheap used one.
