Question 2005 Chev cruise control quit

I have a 2005 Chev 4x4 and just the other day the cruise control quit working. I checked and changed the fuse on the inside panel and no change. I checked the fuses under the hoold but didn't find anything related to cruise. Any ideas on what to check? No problems with any other electrical on the truck.

It could have to do with the computer. I know that OnStar does a shut down by telling your computer to set the cruise control to 0mph. So, maybe you need to have the computer reset. I had a dodge van that the windshield wipers, radio and some other electronics went gaga in and they charged me like forty bucks to reset it.

I never checked the brake switch but I know the brakes and brake lights work. What would this have to do with the cruise? What and how should I check it?

Brake switch cuts off cruise or it did on the older models. Faulty switch on the older models could make cruise not work. I not sure on the newer models if it is like this..

I believe a burnt brake light will do the same so check the bulbs and don't forget the 3rd light

I took it to Chevy dealership and in the end it was my signal switch. They replaced it an all is well.

Thanks to all for your concern.
