Default 2005 silverado please read!!!

Hi I have a 2005 silverado 4.3l reg. cab i got it from an autobroker it was a flood truck...everything works perfectly on the truck besides the lights and my lock and unlock buttons!what do you think the problem is??I went to a mechanic and he said it was the ecm...please help me out

Have to go with Ron, it's a flood vehilce, certain components aren't meant to be underwater. If it was just the lights, I'd say look for damaged wiring, but combined with your lock problem, go with the diagnosis.

LOL flood damage.....get ready for some electrical nightmares......unless all the wiring was redone water has gotton into your ECM prolyl and many other components, dispite what ppl say water damage does not 'dry' and fix itself, like he said somethings are not MENT to get wter in them....

Hope you figure it out, but experience tells me this is justthe beginning for you...
