I just bought a 2011 Z71 LT about 2 months ago. My 2003 Z71 LS had heated mirrors that folded in (power) and also had built in turn signals. My 2011 mirrors are heated, but they do not power in and they don't have turn signals built into them. I really liked both of those features. Is this something I could easily upgrade? Is all the wiring there so it would be a plug and play type upgrade?

you'd have to get new mirrors with those features in them, but if you get them then yes they are plug and play as your truck is already setup to run those things, just didn't come with them

 

and probably the window switch bezel that has the provisions for the switch, unless this can be cut out of the one he has currently.

 

He should be good to go, everyone I've seen that has done this swap didn't have to worry about it, but you may be right

 

Good to know guys, thanks a ton. I didn't know how much I really missed those turn signals in the mirrors. I run on the freeway (100mi round trip to work and back) and having those there really helps the people around me as they typically have their heads up their rears and need yet another LED blinking in their face.
