They road forced the tires and balanced the wheels twice with no change?
I have 6000 miles on it now and very frustrated, this is my 5th Sierra and I like this one the best except for the vibration that no one can figure out.
It's not the engine because it doesn't matter if it's 4cyl or v8 mode.
Let me know if anyone finds a fix?
2nd trip back and dealer put trade in rims and tires, 20 inch continentals , the bouncing in rear is gone but jury still out out vibration

Default Vibration Problems

I am assuming most everyone with the "vibration problem" has the 20" wheels and tires, well my problem started when I bought my truck (2011, 2500hd 4x4 crew cab diesel Z71 with 20" wheels), I ordered it brand new one of the first ones with the clean diesel and it had the vibration as soon as I got it. The dealership tried everything to try and fix it all the way until 2014 when I put a set of Chevrolet 18" alum wheels and Tires on it. ( No more Vibration). It's smooth. Chevrolet had put 8 sets of those fine Goodyear tires on it and 2 sets of wheels plus did a lot of other things which did nothing. I fixed the problem myself and Chevrolet has still not figured out what the problem is with those 20" wheels and tires, It has to be some kind of harmonics problem when you get up to speed, If you want to fix your problem go to a 17 or 18" wheel with a good tire, Tell your dealership to try some 18" wheels and tires on your truck if they have one on the lot they can try on it and see what happens. It is not the 20" rims. I had a 2011 2500HD with 20's and no vibrations as a matter of fact I had 3 sets of the 20's because the finish started to come off and I had them replaced, none of the sets vibrated. I had a 2014 1500 with 18's and had the vibration. GM bought it back. I have another 2014 1500 and no vibration. There are several causes, some get fixed but most don't. There are over 200+ pages on gm-trucks.com on this topic.

Default Shaking/Vibration

I don't think it is the wheels either, I believe it is the tires, I just bought the 18" wheels with the tires on them (Michelins) and took the 20's off and put the 18's on, and it fixed my problem. The wheels and tires came from a brand new 2014 chevy 2500hd, they were Take-Offs and I bought them, but since Chevrolet can't seem to fix the problem I am thinking about putting the 20's back on taking it back to Chevrolet telling them to buy it back and get a 3500 dually with the 17" wheels and tires I know they don't have any vibration/shaking problems. I am really getting tired of arguing with Chevrolet about this situation, they can't fix it, and it's been going on since 2011.

Did not do anything to the speedometer, checked it with my GPS and it was about 1mph off so I didn't worry about it, I am not going to hook up everything for 1mph.

It happens in the V-6 without cylinder deactivation also.
