Hello,

Im new to the chevy forum. I recently purchased a 2014 silverado LT w short bed V8 n 4x4. I want to lower the rear to match the front level instead lifting it. How much is that? 2 inches?

Another question is WHICH METHOD? Remove rear block or shackles or lower kit or what? Whichs the best method?

Thanks

Beaker

Easiest is remove block, but will be about 1.25" lower if you do that. Pull em and see how you like it, if not enough, then do shackles

Shocks will be fine with either application, but if you feel the need, change them out with some beltech shocks and ride

Can't speak to the 1500 but my new 2105 2500HD I am using a set of spring shackles from McGaughy's to lower the back 2". $60 for a set of shackles on my 2500HD.

Just found them for you at McGaughy's.... $46 for a set of rear shackles to lower 1" or 2".
