I just purchased a 2014 Brand New Silverado 1500 LT. I tried using my 4 wheel drive this am due to snow and while the 4 wheel drive seemed to engage, my indicator light showing it was in 4 wheel drive does not seem to show up on my dash like in my previous RAM? Do the Silverados have this? Does this mean there is an issue?

The four-wheel-drive light comes on when a vehicle with a manual transfer case is shifted into four-wheel drive and the front axle engages. The manual transfer case looks like a shifter. If you have a ****, the vehicle will just change to the 4 wheel drive as you turn it. No information will display.
