When I put the truck in 4 wheel drive the 4 wheel drive works but the dash indicator light does not, truck has only 37,000 miles I just bought and no help from dealer.. Does anyone have any idy?

 

Does it show 4 wd in low, or high?

 

No man it does not work in any drive but it is going in 4 wheel, I put it in 4 low and stalilitrack goes off so it is working just no dash indicator light..
Wunder if something is turned off in the dic control center?

 

So it is just a no indicator in 4wd anything. Hard to believe it is a switch, is this a dashboard transfer? I could see if it were a manual transfer case floor lever.
Turn the key switch on without starting , and in 4wd, do you get that on the dash?

 

Yeah Kevin must be for a manual transfer case, a guy at work has a 2011 and his doesent come on either, altho the owners manual says it should iluminate, must be a printed error, it does not come on when key is on altho the trailor towing light does not come on with key till it is turned on..thanks for your replies man...
