92 SILVERADO TURNING OVER BUT NO POWER
I have got a 92 silverado extended cab 4x4 which is used as plow truck. Last night truck was working fine, but then suddenly cut out, no power, no lights, no power windows. The truck is turning over but will not start, even when i am trying to turn the engine over i still have no power lights etc. The battery is fine becasue i am able to raise the plow etc but now the truck is not working and i have the windows down on the truck and not able to rasie them with alot of snow coming!! (I have checked the internal fuses and they look ok)
Have you checked fusible links?Or the battery ground cable?Clean your battery up.Can you hear the fuel pump turn on?Is there gas getting to the engine?
just got back from plowing in my odld truck and still cant get other truck to work. Fuel pump turns on and there is gas getting to the engine. And the battery cable is good and grounded. like i said even when i turn the ignition on without trying to start engine i have no pwer lights etc. Its strange becasue i was plowing and it simply stopped all lights off everything, i didnt bump the truck which would mean i might have loosened something so im open to answer. the weather is so bad at the moment so not able to have a good look, but i have checked most things over.
Sorry i know a bit about cars brakes oil etc but electrics not much good what is meant by a fusable link? is it difficult to fix and costly? thanks for the advice so far..
Thanks Outcastz89 just cheked the ground cable and it had snapped loose! It was the simplest thing to fixed thanks for your help, now i have two plow trucks to get rd of all this snow!!!
