Default 94 K1500 350 tbi

I have a 94 model 350 with TBI motor. I had to put two new heads on it last weekend, I set the timing on TDC and adjusted the valves like the Haynes book said to, but when I crank it up it lopes real bad when the timing is on 0 I have to advance it 32 degrees to get it to idle right and then when I put it in drive it will start missing so bad it shuts off I have been back through the valves again and have moved the distributor numerous times. I'm at a loss with what to do does anybody on here have any suggestions.

theres a wire you have to unhook in order to correctly set the timing, did you do this when you set the timing? if not that could be a reason why its not working.

double check all connections and double check that they are where they need to be. check any wiring having to do with ignition to make sure its all ok. also, check your throttle body and fuel lines coming into it just to make sure. its hard to pinpoint this. maybe a certified mechanic can better diagnose this.
