Good afternoon,

So I bought a 1998 k1500 4x4. It had been sitting for a year, so I did a tune up and got it back in shape. since I turned it on, it has had a check engine light on. So I drove it and it seemed like if it had no power. I cleared the code, that is was for a shift solenoid B and it runs fine from 1st to second gear then it revs high and it shifts hard and the check engine light comes back on. But now if I cleared the code every time I am at a stop light it works fine thru the fist two gears.

I recently replaced both shift solenoid and all the wires for the solenoids. The truck still doing the same issue...... it driving me crazy, I just need to know if this is common and how can I fix the problem?????

The solenoids where from Advance Auto Parts BWD parts?????
