air conditioning
Could you elaborate on "Warm"?
Warm as if the heat is running?
Warm as in same as the ambient cab temp?
or
Warm as in not as cold as it should be but below the ambient temp?
An where do you live? Florida? Maine? Arizona? That info helps a lot in determining what is a "normal" A/C temp comparative to the outdoor conditions.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I've got almost the same problem. A/C blows cold for a while (10 to maybe 30 min.) then like I flipped the switch, hot air begins to blow. This is only on the drivers side. Passenger side still blows cool air.
I can stop and shut off the truck, crank back up and usually get cold air again.

I have a similar problem with my 03 Silverado 1500HD here in Alabama.
Hot outside, get into the hot truck, turn on the AC, blows warm somewhat stagnant-smelling air. After driving for a few minutes, the AC kicks in and blows cold like it is supposed to. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes or so for the AC to stop blowing warm and switch to cold air. Sometimes it doesn't have this problem at all and blows cold from the start.
Anyone know what the problem and fix is here? TIA!!!!

However I am not sure if that is exactly the problem. First of all, I only have 28,000 miles on the truck. Once cold air starts blowing, it will stay cold for hours. Only time it does this is after it has been sitting for several hours or longer. I am no AC expert but just some extra info to add.

It could also be the outside air or recirculated air damper changing position if you have auto climate control, I have found that in my 07 Escalade that if I crack open a window it cools much better. A low charge is usually indicated by the air only getting cold when running at highway speeds and by a rapid cycling of the compressor.
