Default A/C and Heat squeals

94 k1500 5.7L

it doesnt work on low and it screams the rest of the time unless you kick it it quits for a little bit... is it a bad blower motor?

and does anyone have a diagram for dash disassembly?

yep bad motor. to remove there are like several 7mm bolts that hold the bottom of the plenum together. Take those out and the motor is right there. Lube the motor on the new one before you put it in(with real lube grease, not WD40).

Yes I agree with Racer X. I have a 98 ext cab longbed, mine does/did the same. the motor burnt out the resistor.. so I had to replace the motor and the blower resistor

both were bad. kind of a pain to switch out but not too bad i guess. thanks for the help
