ok here goes nothing. I have an 86 chevy c30 diesel with a c400 automatic transmission. Last november I lost a line and lost a lot of tranny fluid. It started acting up and didn't want to go forward. I fixed the line and added fluid but now the tranny goes in reverse just fine, but when trying to go forward it acts like it isn't getting fluid. I changed the filter and fluid and it still doesn't act right. You can go in reverse just fine. But going forward its very slow and you have to rev the motor really high to get it to engage. Once it starts going you can get up to speed but it really revs the motor to high rpms. What could possibly be wrong. Do I have air in the system? Help!
