Default Cam shaft position sensor help!!

I have a automatic 1996 GMC sierra 1500 with a 5.0 Vortec engine in it. Recentley I have noticed that the truck will start then sie out. on restart the engine will stay running but the RPM's will bounce around from 600 to 1500 at idle. Also while driving, it downshifts awful hard in random gears. I put it on a code reader and it said I either have a ad or Vaf circuit low input, o2 sensor ckt no activity and cam position sensor bank 1 circuit malfunction. I have been checking wires and connections everywhere and am not sure which direction to head
