Default can somebody tell me what truck i have?

ok guys newbie here and i just bought a 1993 chevy truck i belive its a c1500,regular cab, stepside shortbed,i just want to know if its a silverado or what? it is 2 wd,with auto,a/c and a 5.7 efi,i also believe it is a somewhat rare truck because it has the marklll wood trim pkg. and before u tell me to go somewhere i`ve been to all the vin sites and no help, so besides telling me if i have a silverado or what, could u also tell me what the 3rd digit in my vin is for (B)....and what the 9th digit stands for (1) ?if u could help me with those 3 things it would be appreciated and does the marklll change anything? thnx bb i`ll try including a photo but if it doesnt work email me and i`ll be more than happy to send a pic.thnx again

The 3rd digit "B" means Chevrolet Incomplete, as in it was finished by an authorized aftermarket builder. The 9th digit is labeled "check digit" in my manual, my Tahoe has a 9 there.

well on the cab there should be a badge unless the truck has been repainted or some1 has peeled them and those should tell you what it is {silverado, cheyenne, etc.} and also your title might help you figure out what it is

If it's fully loaded, power locks, windows, and Cruise control. It's a Silvy more than likely. Most Cheyennes didn't have any extras, at least back in '93.

Hi beachbumtroy,

Welcome to the Chevy Forums.

One of our longstanding members, shawnVW, has been doing a VIN lookup for other members for some time now. This will give you a rundown description of all your RPO codes for your specific truck.

Included is OEM engine size and type, tranny, differential ratio, suspension info, trim package info,OEM wheel and tire size and type, original paint scheme, as well as a wealth of other manufacturer info.
