I understand this is an odd question but I just purchased an 04 Silverado LS and was wondering (other than purchasing a new fob for testing) how to tell if the truck came with the keyless entry option.

So hopefull somebody is still kicking around here that knows the answer to this question. If I understand correctly you are saying that on the sticker in the glove box I am looking for the code "AU0" and this indicates that I am keyless equipped? I also just bought a truck with no fobs and am wondering if keyless is factory installed. Thanks in advance for the help

 

I have an LS and it has it. My understanding is that if the truck has electric door locks and windows and other electric items then it has the keyless door locks.
