Question Can't Burn out, spin tires on Chevy Silverado?

Okay I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado LT Pickup and can not do a burn out. Have tried taking off from zero with traction control on and off with no foot on the brake and with out. Have also just tried spinning my tires with my foot on the brake and gas at the same time, but in this instance my rpm's won't even go too 2000. It's like something is holding my truck back from spinning the tires. How can I spin my tires with foot on the brake and gas and with just trying to take off without traction control? Any comments are appreciated!

Have you attended the Silverado Burnout School yet? I couldn't get mine to spin either - since school I go through 4 sets of tires a month!

Some of the late model vehicles are equipped with brake override. So anytime the vehicle gets a brake on signal it will reduce the throttle open control. This feature really messes with the foot drivers. Also as an alternative to going to the burnout school their is an self learning guide in the glove box. I think they call it an Owner Manual.

I don't have that problem with my 95 1500, but then again I have a 5 speed manual transmission.
