Governor pressure screen on a 4L60; force motor screen on a 4L60E. Lives in a channel recess, in the case under the spacer plate. If you can't find the recess, I'll go rumage around and see if I can find you a picture.

Aren't ya glad ya yanked that valve body?

Okay,

Can I give ya a hint without ya getting mad? When taking a picture, make sure the light source is behind you.

So, what you are holding is the 3-2 control valve. Goes in the bore behind the 3-2 control solenoid. Spring in first, then the valve and finally the solenoid.

Yes Sir,

If my feeble old memory serves me correctly.

GM did a design change between 1995 and 1996 models. Guess I was just assuming you were working on the later?

Look in the bore. And, just like the TV Postal ad says; If it fits, it ships.

Okay, there ya go.

First bore inboard of the manual valve, forward end of the valve body. That valve goes skinny end in first (after the spring).

Then the solenoid; and it's keeper is snapped in back aways in the valve body.
