Default Changed battery, now radio won't power on

In my 2007 Silverado Classic, my battery went dead so I had to have it changed. Ever since then, my radio will not turn on and shows no sign of power (it did work before the battery change). A little background, the radio is not the OEM radio, it is a Pioneer double din DVD unit. If I put the OEM unit back it, it works fine. Since this has happened, I've had the Pioneer exchanged twice thinking it was a bad unit but it still does not work. I have changed out the wiring harness, I've had it checked out to verify it is correct. I have checked and even replaced the radio fuse in the fuse box under the hood.
Is there anything in the security system that could prevent it from working?
I'm stumped and hope maybe someone has other ideas to check out.
