Hi There! I'm a newbie here so please be patient and gentle......it's my first time. I have a 1992 Chevy K1500 stepside pickup.....bought it new and have kept up with all maintenance......mechanical and body. All in all she's in pretty good shape.....okay...so here's where we get into the trouble.....the frame is broke. I've located a 1995 Chevy K1500 stepside pickup that was in a rollover but the frame is solid. I want to swap out my 1992 cab on the 1995. Anybody out there know if this will work. I don't want to buy the '95 and start the project only to discover it just isn't going to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

is the 95 a complete rolling frame? you are looking to just swap the 92 body? it should work just fine providing both are same chassis (standard cab, ext cab) body mounts should be the same, everything interchangeable. should be pretty straight forward except the wiring. unless you are planning on gutting both cabs and swapping wiring, dash and all.
