Hi!

This is my first post in this forum.
I recently bought a Cheyenne 2500 1995.

I can't get the running lights and the positions lights in the front to work when i turn the ignition key to step to "start". The lights works fine on the first steps, but then turns off when i start the truck.

Previous owner was a complete idiot who had connected wires and relays everywhere.. I have torn out allmost all of his hobby modifications, but I still can't get the lights to work.

There is no broken fuse or cable. I suspect some problem with the ignition switch and or some relay.

Hints and tips?

 

Problem found. It was the alarm system.
When the ground wire was removed the running lights started working again.
I haven't yet solved the problem though.
