Default Engine dies-When raining!!!

It seems like every time it rains my engine dies and won't start. I usually can let it set for awhile and crank it up. It misses for a little bit then clears out and runs fine after it quits raining.

I pulled a 0300 code on it, Just wondering where to start. We are putting new plug wires on it tonight. Anything special we should do to help the problem.

Need advice and thanks much in advance.

Dad

Hit the distributor with some WD-40.

Do I spray it on outside of distributor? Is this only temporary fix. If so how do I do a permanent fix. Thanks much DAD

I think there is a more permante solution with water proofing the ignition ask your parts store. Tell them what you are having, they probably can help.

Well here is what we ended up doing for now. We replaced the plug wires and coil wire. Truck started right up and never missed a lick. We took the water hose to the truck and radiator area to try and kill it with water. Jept right on running smooth as a wistle.

I di have question though but I can seem to find a way to post a pick. There is a switch of some kind on the passenger side of the engine that has a line plugged into it and also has a hose that I think should hook up to it. The top of it is blue. What is this switch and what hooks onto it. The hose hookup is missing I think.

Thanks for your help.
