If you can get it to start by putting fuel into the engine, it should be a fuel problem. I would change the filter if you haven't yet. When you do that if you already haven't, leave the line off on the tank side and have someone turn the key on. If the pump is working you will have gas coming out. If it dosen't then if you have a multi-meter or a test light unplug the fuel pump wires and see if it has any power. I Don't know which wire needs power buttheir shouldn't be more than 3 or 4 wires anyway.
If you have power, pumps bad. If you don't you need to look at the relays.
But before you do anything check your fuses too. It may sound stupid but sometimes that is all it takes.
