Louder then a super 44 is glasspacks. Personally I thought Flowmaster sounds unique behind a 350.

IMO, super 40 is louder. thats what i run on my truck. otherwise go with glasspacks.

The Hooker 3" in / dual 2.5 out i had on my old 92 was pretty good sounding. Deep but not so much of the high pitch of a flowmaster, i just cant remember what muffler it was, single chamber of some sort.
On my 05 i put a dynomax super turbo in place of the stock muffler and its just got some mild deep tone, no high pitch. i wanted to keep it fairly quiet because after racing all day, then a 3 hour haul home and rolling in at 4AM it just gets annoying.

i wouldn't judge from youtube. majority of the videos dont have very good sound quality when it comes to exhaust. thrush or cherrybomb's are good.

on my 04 silverado 1500. i have 2.5 or 3 inch in, dual 2.5 out with 4" tips. when i first put on my system i had a 40 series muffler and upgraded to a 10 series one chamber muffler. it has a pretty deep tone and doesnt sound like a mustang.

small bit of advice, if you do turndowns, dump them about 11" from the muffler. you'll get a better sound than having dumps right at the muffler.
