Gas guage problems 2001 chevy Z-71.
Ok so when I fill up the truck the gas gauge starts acting funny. Once it has been driven a couple of gallons later it is fine.
I have tried searching the forums and cannot find anything specific.

sensor on the fuel pump more than likely. they get gummed up and float...mine does it and so do all my friends that have a 00-02 silverado/Tahoe. no big deal but these trucks are known to have a fuel pump go out
