Needing some help, bought a used 2001 GMC 2500 6.0L 4x4 long box. First "newer" truck I have owned; and it doesn't have any badges on it so I don't know if it's a HD or just a plain old 2500. Any help in determining what it is would help before I go out and buy a lift.

8 lug rims
2 batteries
6.0L Vortech (HO? if there is a way to tell that too)

check your door sill, it should tell ya in there. i think the 2500 hd's had 1 ton leafs if im correct?

 

I checked the glovebox and found that it states cargo capacity at 2145lbs. So I guess I am a one ton. But now my question turns to the 6.0L is it High Output or just a 6.0L?
