So, my a/c-heat controls don't work. My boyfriend took apart the dash and found that the blower heater switch was melted. I got a new one of those, but the thing it connects into is stumping me. I don't know the name of it and can't find it in any junk yard. Please help! What is the thing with wires called that's connected to the blower heater switch behind the dashboard a/c-heat controls?

I have a 1996 Chevrolet Silverado with a 305, if that makes any difference.
