Default Help?

Just bought a 2002 Silverado 2500HD W/ Hydraulic lift gate, Used to be a Baltimore Gas & Electric truck. Has 115,000 miles and is pretty well maintained. Did not get an owners manual and was wondering if anybody knows where i can get the specs/options in this vehicle by vin number.

Also how hard is it to change out factory radio and speakers? only has rear but would like to replace them and add fronts in doors.

Would appreciate any/all replies.

Click on the letters in post #3, it will direct you to the forum site in the lounge, then click on the site moderator post towards the bottom, that will take you to the vin decoder.

Anyone know how I can find out? If it is a keyless entry system, Ill get a couple remote fobs and get them programmed. Either from ebay or salvage yard.

Radio shouldn't take you longer then an hour and most of the time would be connecting wires. Back speakers can be a pain but front ones are easy to replace.
