My, but that's a tight little spring. I think Chevrolet used some leftover valve springs for the door spring. Can anyone help me re-install the spring? I had to refresh the pins and bushings, now I am struggling to re-install the spring. Thanks.

 

there is a tool for the spring

 

Go to google or ebay and search " Car door spring remover tool" and find a tool for around $20.00 or less. Makes the job much easier.
